Rameshbabu Vaishali, born on 21 June 2001 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is the elder sister of chess grandmaster R. Praggnanandhaa. Vaishali and Praggnanandhaa are also the first brother-sister pair to become grandmasters. Their achievements now etch them in the annals of chess history.
Vaishali Joins Elite Ranks of India’s Female Chess Grandmasters
Vaishali’s accomplishment adds her name to the exclusive list of India’s top female chess Grandmasters, which includes Koneru Humpy and Harika Dronavalli. Currently ranked 716th among active players worldwide, Vaishali’s dedication and talent have rewarded her for this remarkable achievement.
